PRESS RELEASE
On Thursday, February 4th, 2010—the “radical reinvention” marketing and live event company—Monster Nature, is launching the “Healing Haiti Relief Show” to raise support funds for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti. Local downtown venue, Back Booth—located at 37 W. Pine St, off Orange Ave—has agreed to host the event with no overhead charge. Jesse Rosoff, co-founder of Monster Nature said, “The $5 suggested donation cover charge will directly benefit our selected charities, Doctors Without Borders, Mercy Corps, and Yele Haiti.”

The three chosen organizations are currently leaders in supplying relief to the Haiti earthquake crisis. “We chose Doctors Without Borders, Mercy Corps and Yele Haiti because they are organizations with low overhead through which a vast majority of donated money will have direct impact in the crisis zone,” says Monster Nature co-founder, Kyle J. Britt.

Monster Nature was founded on principals of charity and community, and has organized similar fundraising efforts in the past. The most recent music benefit Monster Nature hosted was last year, for Invisible Children, at Dungeon Lounge, in which the venue was sold-out:

“Several talented Central Florida-based regional artists will be featured, each donating their normal performance fee to the cause,” explains Monster Nature Talent Director Sarah Conness. Live updates, show roster, and other details can be viewed at MonsterNature.com as they are announced. If anyone is interested in helping through sponsorship or other in-kind donations, they are invited to email healhaiti@monsternature.com.

Co-Founder, Kyle J Britt is available for telephone interview at any time, though in-person interview dates cannot include January 21-22, 26, and 30 to February 3.
